The general idea is that you have to write much better strategies to enable the Cognac agent to play better and win the game as often as possible. 60% for the programming part (this is mostly writing a new strategy for the Cognac agent); 15% for a short report explaining the strategy you developed; 25% to be obtained by competing against other students' programs. we will first run each program against one of the standard agents (the random-agent). We will run the programs more than once and count how many times you win. The borad will be 6 by 6 with k=4. We will disqualify any program that takes more than 20-25 minutes to run. This means approximatively a minute per move for your agent. To allow us to run your agent with the random agent you'll need to have a unique name for your agent. You should write something like: (defstructure (IDxxxxxxx-agent .....)) We will start the programs by loading the files from the textbook implementation, followed by loading your file(s). You are not allowed to change any of the functions defined in the code from the textbook. you can simply add more functions. To avoid potential name conflicts, use your ID or your initials in the name of the function you define (alternatively, you could put all of them in a package).
