Custom Shipping Plugin for Wordpress and WooCommerce Using Fedex API

You must have experience writing plugins for Wordpress, preferably Woocommerce experience as well. This project is made tricky due to the FedEx API. The plugin must be compatible with the new version of Wordpress 3.8 and be able to be understood by another developer down the line.

The ideal candidate will title their application "Two Tree WooCommerce Plugin" and answer ALL of the questions at the end of this post.

Here is the plugin description:

WooCommerce 2.x shipping plugin similar to Table Rate Shipping Plugin: [login to view URL]

but with additional features:

1. Conditional Shipping Rates. Different rates can be specified depending on what other shipping classes are on the cart.

2. Free Shipping. Items in a shipping class can be specified as FREE SHIPPING depending on what other shipping classes are on the cart.

2. Fedex Shipping Queries. Fedex calculation of items depending on the shipping zone.

NEEDED IN 2 WEEKS

Back-end

1. Incorporate Copy over relevant fedex code from sod-fedex-shipping into twotree-shipping.

2. Incorporate fedex calculation for items assigned to the fedex condition in the twotree-shipping plugin calculation loop

3. Incorporate conditional shipping for items with shipping class conditions(SUBLINES) in the twotree-shipping plugin calculation loop

Back-end UI

1. Incorporate fedex settings into the twotree-shipping plugin.

Frontend UI:

1. For order with multiple shipping methods : include all shipping class types in the name. e.g. "Commercial Shipping + Fedex" instead of just "Commercial Shipping" if it includes fedex.

calculation branches into the 3 types: ['item','line','class'], make sure they are added to all of them.

Back-end #3: Prioritization

1. Get all matching rates and their subline rates.

2. DATA-FILTER: Start with matching top-level rates (NOT subline rates).

3. DATA-FILTER: Loop through subline rates -- lowest subline pricing replaces the top-level rate.

4. Continue with the price calculation using the filtered table rate.
