I need two small changes in my Worpress blog

I have created a Wordpress blog and I'm using self-hosted Wordpress software. I chose a theme for it, so this theme has two little problems:
1. The pages bar (menus) is allowed to put only 5 options. Other pages are not shown on it.
2. If the visitor makes a search for category, the excerpt appears but there's not the "Read more" option beneath the text.
I'd like someone with experience in Wordpress to fix these two small problems for me. The URL is [url removed, login to view]
