ACtive directory - DNS

i have a problem once i install active directory on the server, and also my client connect to the domain, the client login process become slow, and i need someone to guide me to make it login faster once active directory has been install in the server, and also i read some the main thing in the DNS so i need someone to guide me on this and my client using win xp only not winxp sp1
