I am working with Cedar Financial a US based Collection Agency in Pakistan. We deal with different client to collect debt on their behalf within US and worldwide.

we were given a project to collect debt by Walden University. We needed to collect debt from US citizen which is always difficult because of their consumer laws. We had to collect accordingly. There were 700+ students who didn't pay their tuition fee. Following were our duties.

Duties:

Skip Tracing
Communicate with consumers via email and over the Phone
Give them a payment plan which they can afford easily
Follow consumer laws
Advising debtors of the possible consequences of non-payment
Reporting their account to the Credit Bureau
Deal with consumer Politely
Offer them a settlement to resolve their matter
Payment posting
Keeping administrative record up to date
Make up to 250 calls everyday to chase up outstanding balance
Handling inquires
Build trust with debtors
Update account status and database regularly
Comply with re
