Designing and developing a web application on top of the re-usable framework mentioned above to replace the Marine Corps Systems Command existing Staff Directory system. Creative Technology Incorporated/General Dynamics Herndon, VA February 2002 – August 2003 Senior Software Engineer Designed and developed a suite of software which is helping to define a complex business process for Military Intelligence Agency located in Dahlgren, VA. This suite is fully extensible, offering binary plug-in capability for future enhancements and integrates with other vendor software packages such as MATLAB and Mathematica. Designed and developed the Marine Corps Applications Portfolio web-enabled system to help ensure the Marine Corps transition to the Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) enterprise network management contract. Using Microsoft .NET framework (ASP.NET) with limited Windows Forms and console applications, written in C#, utilizing Oracle 9i as the back end. Additionally managing and providing XML documentation by utilizing the Rational Unified Process and UML. Designed, developed and implemented a web-enabled Microsoft Access database using IIS with Active Server Pages and XML/XSLT for frequently asked questions. United States Marine Corps Quantico, VA January 1998 – January 2002 Systems Programmer Designed, and developed a client/server solution that acts as a work around for the limitations imposed in Microsoft Exchange Outlook Web Access for public calendars. Developed and implemented a client-side ActiveX library that allows browser-based digital signatures to be used on HTML forms for a highly secure command-wide financial aspect of TIGER (Total Information Gateway to Enterprise Resources — a command-wide Inter/Intranet portal). Wrote the web interface and SQL Server database back end for the Staff Directory, a crucial portion of TIGER. Lead developer on the Leadership Evaluation System, a Microsoft Access based database application that aids in scoring and rating US Marine Officers. Information Systems Coordinator for work section. Developed a complete web application for Site Analytics, Inc which allows clients to perform complex marketing demographic reports and complete system database administration using SQL Server 7.0, Transact-SQL stored procedures, Active Server Pages, and XML. Developed a server-side component in VB 6.0 that queues incoming requests/connections to a limited connection Oracle 8i database.
