Holistically supported customer designs using Invensense's gyroscope and accelerometer sensors. Assisted customers in most every aspect of design, from device selection to ensuring compatibility with other parts of the design, embedded programming, driver design, production code, mechanical issues, sensor placement, etc. Performed initial failure analysis on devices returned by customers in Japan. This included simple go/no-go testing (i.e. determining whether the device is actually faulty) to analyzing specific device issues (what part of the device is most likely to have failed). Was responsible for ensuring a 24-hour turnaround time (from the time the devices are received until the initial failure report is sent to the customer) on all returned parts received. Designed evaluation and measurement software, as well as test heads/boards for analog/digital automated testing of devices. Also designed several evaluation tools which are regularly used by customers for device parameter measurement, data logging and spectral (frequency domain) analysis.
