After graduating with Bachelor’s degrees in French and English, I struggled to find a niche in the writing market, a place I long imagined having a career. Despite having studied subjects I was interested in, I was ill-prepared for the work world. Given my strong interest in entrepreneurship, I made the decision to continue my education and earn a Master’s degree in Business Administration. After studying all aspects of running a business, including finance, accounting, management, and marketing, I found my skills best suited for marketing roles.
Over the past several years, I have held positions in marketing that have allowed me to flex my creativity. I have written press releases, marketing copy, company profiles, and research, and have overseen planning for trade shows in the manufacturing and finance industries.
Because my entrepreneurial itch began again recently, and I had grown frustrated with the limitations working for others held, I took a leap of faith and started my own marketing firm, Egg Marketing & Public Relations. I provide corporate communications, event planning, and advertising assistance to businesses. I enjoy providing consultation for businesses that don’t know how to effectively communicate with their clients.
