As a Junior/Associate-level DevOps Engineer, I am committed to helping organizations optimize their software development and deployment processes. I bring a solid foundation in various DevOps tools and technologies, including Docker, Ansible, and Jenkins, and I'm eager to learn more. My experience includes Linux and Windows server administration, including setup, maintenance, user and group management, and troubleshooting issues on various flavors such as Alpine, Ubuntu, Kali, CentOS, Metasploit, Rocky, Oracle, and Windows Server 2012, 2016, and 2019. For example, I have set up and maintained Linux servers for web hosting and development purposes, including configuring Apache and Nginx web servers and troubleshooting networking issues. On Windows servers, I have worked on Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP configuration, and managed user accounts and group policies. I also have experience in monitoring and logging tools, including Checkmk, PRTG, Monit, ELK stack, and Prometheus/Grafana. For example, I have configured the ELK stack to monitor logs and metrics from multiple servers and created custom dashboards to visualize the data. I have also set up and configured Checkmk and PRTG to monitor server health and performance and set up alerts and notifications for critical events. In addition, I have worked with Vault for secure secrets management and Confluence for collaboration and documentation. I am familiar with basic scripting and programming languages such as Bash and Python, and I have a good understanding of containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes. Furthermore, I have experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD, and I have a good understanding of cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. I am eager to learn more about cloud technologies and how they can be leveraged to improve software development and deployment processes.
