I've been very hesitant to publish this rating, as I'm well aware that it will tarnish Chris' thus-far "perfect ten" rating, to much of which I had personally contributed my opinion. I still very much like him and his work product, and this project was no exception in those regards. However, in the end, I decided to post this, rather than remain silent, as the whole vWorker ecosystem depends on this honest and transparent reputation system, and I depend on other Buyers to post their honest opinions, just as others are relying on mine. The problem came down to one of Chris not responding after several days of repeated inquiries, which is one item that vWorker's rating grid specifies as a drop to "8; very good". He later told me that he had lost access to some hardware that he had needed to complete the job, and then was afraid to admit this until he was able to procure a replacement. I think we were able to reach an understanding about daily communication, which I don't feel is unreasonable, and I will continue to work with him as opportunities arise in the future.
