Digital Signage System

This is a real-time prediction system that includes many layers of data retrieval, processing, mining and then prediction.-
Data Mining(SQL Server Analysis Services): 4 data mining algorithms are implemented. Decision Tree, Logistic Regression, Neural Networks and Clustering.
- Mining Models have been implemented based on these four algorithms
- Transport Data is collected from SQL Server about different Routes
- Data is Pre-Processed into a format required by the Mining Algorithms
- The Mining Component applies these algorithms on the training data and calculates the probabilities of prediction. It also saves the prediction probabilities into a prediction database
- It loads data about journeys in progress and generates prediction based on the training data and real-time data parameters to generate real-time predictions for stop arrival and departure times, predicting delays, predicting congestions, identifying zones for congestion, identifying stops with delays.

I am responsible for development, coordination and research and planning for a wide range of technology software products mermaid is offering to its customers in media, content production, digital signage, real time transport systems with ability to project systems for the bus networks across Europe. Having worked in many different tools and technologies for different products including but not limited to C++, Java, Microsoft .Net C# and VB.Net, XML, WCF, Web Services, SQL Server, MVC, Entity Frameworks, Flex, XML, SOAP. I have worked on most of the company's core products and have contributed in design, architecture and development of many systems including 1- Distributed File System: A client server with proxy pattern application, which is highly scaleable and stable system supporting 1000s of simultaneous file and content synchronization. This is pure C++ application both client and server end. 2- Content Production Management System in .Net, helps in content production, sharing it to target users and getting comments. The system coordinates the content production from conception to approval. The system has .Net server, web services and Flex front end. 3- Digital Signage System: It is a huge system comprising of many sub systems completed with contribution as well as supervision. 4- Urban transport system: A state of the art system to provide technology support to an urban transport system. There are devices installed in the buses and the server end and our solution automates the process and data integration coming from buses as well as 3rd party data providers.

Solar soft was one of the successful ventures i started as an entrepreneur. I established some good contacts with clients and worked on variety of web applications and services using PHP and mySQL. I had to sell this venture because of some unavoidable engagements but it gave me very precious exposure regarding team management, inter-personal skills, client coordination, technical supervision and project management, product management and an entrepreneur.
