I mentored students in kindergarten through fifth grade in all their academic subjects, planned educational extracurricular activities, and helped with the daily operations of our after-school program. Being run by a nonprofit, another aspect of my job was to work on community outreach and resource development in an effort to create a safer environment with more educational opportunities for these students to grow up in.

I helped ensure our staffers were taken care of, our manpower was distributed efficiently and working effectively, and our attendees' questions and concerns were addressed. I also remained on call during the entirety of the convention, helping our individual events run smoothly on a day-to-day basis. As a director, I worked year round with a select group of people in planning for the three-day convention.
