I have over ten years of personal experience as a creative writer of short fiction and poetry and eight years as an academic writer. I have also dabbled in various creative writing genres from the personal essay to the screenplay. My professional experience includes three years of proofreading and editing as an English tutor for a college institution and four year of creating, writing and editing as a frustrated freelancer. In terms of creative writing, I am most concerned with the human condition. This I place before all since it has the ability to make any richly described landscape that much more beautiful. When it comes to copywriting or editing for the purpose of business or advertising, I confess I am more comfortable with the job of editing than writing unless the material I am allowed to create is fresh and invokes the kind of passion that stirs creativity.
