Due to my lack of expertise on the subjects Networking, VPN and OpenVPN, I've decided to ask for some expert help on my problem: I need 2 configuration files (.ovpn): client and server, both should be optimized for gaming operations that supports the max amount of clients possible. I'll want to test the configuration with a few games. Both server and client will run on a Windows PC.

I have a server with 100 ip's and I want to setup a openVPN on it to allow my employees to connect to the vpn before accessing the internet while traveling since most of the wireless connections are highly insecure. I need someone to create me a file with a list of commands from start to finish on how to configure openVPN in order to assign 1 ip per employee, password protected. Tweaking openvpn client to custom icons, config, automatic update and error logs.

I'm looking for someone familiar with OpenVPN who can troubleshoot and correct my attempt at setting up a simple OpenVPN server. I have been able to get the connection working, but only under specific settings with firewalls down and DMZ in use. When moved out of the DMZ, the client is no longer able to connect to the server unless the "Apply" button is hit on the server side router for ANY setting (weird). Then it's able to connect, but if the tunnel is down for 5 minutes, it's unable to reconnect. Linux server has new ERP software and Win2003 has old ERP software. 1. Suggest stable VPN solution (e.g. OpenVPN run on Linux server). Currently we use QuickVPN with a Linksys router which is not very stable and doesn't work on Win7. Hence we need something better. 2. Move network drive from Win2003 to Linux server. Ok that's a rather broad description. We are mainly looking for a coder that can write a piece of software which uses the OpenVPN () driver to capture LAN traffic. If you are not familiar with OpenVPN, it captures LAN traffic, encrypts it and sends it off to somewhere (server or peer). We do not need the encryption part and we don't need the sending part. We need a class that captures the data and presents it in a processable format. So the software has to be able to identify the tpye of packet and prepare it accordingly. We need a custom built openvpn-gui for our endusers. We require some adjustments to the installation package such as changing the icon, removing some menu features and performing a silent install. In addition to this we would request it be bundled with openvpn and all non-client files (i.e. those pertaining to the server function) to be removed from the installation package. Each user has a unique set of certificates which is generated on a backend server. These certificates should be automated into the unique user installation procedure so that no user intervention is needed to complete the installaion. The files are stored in a subdirectory on the CA machine and are generated on the fly and reside in a directory linked to the end user. The CA runs on a linux platform.
