We edited a VM instance on our Google Cloud Platform to increase the size of the Boot Disk. We had connected keys generated from PuTTYgen to the server without any passphrases. Following the change in the Boot Disk, the PuTTY client reflects that the server is refusing our key, the browser SSH is unable to connect as well. After a while, PuTTY has begun reflecting that we need a passphrase for the key even though we have never set any passphrases at all. Looking for experts who can help solve this issue or at least help recover MongoDB data present on the server on a highly urgent basis

I want everything configured so that I have an rutorrent web UI I can add and alter my torrents and its files setup to be stored in a google cloud bucket. I want these files to be accessible using plex media server and confirmed to work with my client. On a side note, a little help with SSH and SFTP. I create the keys with puttygen, copy them to GCP, and with both Putty and Filezilla they work. However, once the sessions are closed, anytime I try and log back in either method it returns some error and I just dont get it. Thanks, Preston

Setting up rutorrent or whatever torrent client on the regular hard drive isnt that difficult, nor is setting up plex media server. but where I ran into problems whats making it so a GC...storage bucket could be used as the main storage source using GCSFUSE. Hi, i need help regarding amazon AWS managment, im able to create servers but having issues logging using the putty, when i save the .pkk file using puttygen , i then open normal putty the the file is not there

Must know digitalocean and SSH. I simply need to remove the original ssh key and add my own key. The company that added the key is no longer responding so I have no access to files as they've changed the key. I will be using Filezilla to login. I created a key using puttygen and can send it to you. I'll help out as much as I can I will pay as soon as I can login and all is good.

I have a ubuntu VPS (18.04) and I usually connect to it using Putty as SSH client. For security reasons I now need to connect using a PPK file for authentication. I created the PPK file in Puttygen and I implemented this new log in type. However, now the VPS only allows the root user to log in, any other user that is not root in the server will not be allowed to log in now that we are using a PPK file. It seems that when a PPK file is used, I need to make an extra step to allow non-root users to log in. I have an assignment that must be written in C, can't be C++. It's a secure chat, with a name server, and all the clients can connect with this server and chat with each other. But all the communication must be encrypted, using digital certificates, asymmetric and symmetric keys from the openssl API, GPG, Putty or PuttyGen. It must run on Linux platform.
