I just get the cheapest Linux VPS from Ionos. It has Ubuntu 20.04. I am trying to install NGINX so as to host my test Devexpress ASP.Net Core sample application. The DotNet SDK/Runtime is installed. NGINX site available config is set. service file is created and the service seems running. However, I still cannot access it via the IP address. I am a Windows guy, not Linux unfortunately. The objective is to set up / configure the Ubuntu VPS successfully to run the ASP.Net Core sample application. The IP address can be put in my browser and I can access it. I will try to ask the Ionos support guy to help me point the domain to the IP address. On top of it, you may have to configure the server for additional security features.
