Position Requirements BS Degree and or equivalent work experience in a technical discipline. A minimum of 6+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer. Working experience using configuration management, automation and orchestration tools such as Ansible, Terraform or similar. Experience in building, managing and maintaining containerization platforms such as OpenShift or Kubernetes. Strong knowledge of Linux (RHEL) and some Windows. Experience with VMware virtualization. Experience in automating cloud deployments in AWS, GCP and/or Azure. Strong scripting background in Bash or Python. Able to utilize version control tools like Git along with a strong understanding of merging and branching code. Able to work in GitLab. Experience writing yaml and json. Must have a solid understanding and/or experience with Nginx, NodeJs, Apache Tomcat, and Apache HTTP. Familiarity with load testing and performance testing tools such as Telerik Test Studio or similar. Able to create monitoring dashboards using Grafana or similar. Familiarity setting up event monitoring and alerting in Prometheus, SolarWinds or similar. Possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Must possess excellent listening and communication skills. Preferred Knowledge and/or experience with Apache Kafka, Confluent, and ELK is a plus. Knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server Knowledge and/or experience with load balancers such as F5 Big-IP.

Hello, I am a software developer with over 10 years experience. I have an Engineering degree in IT. I am predominantly a backend developer and working with Nodejs, Springboot, GraphQL is my forte. I have spent the last 5-6 years working in DevOps as well. I have expertise working with following services: 1. AWS services such as Elastic Bean Stalk, CloudFormation templates, ECS. I have used CloudWatch to monitor and trigger events in case resource usage reaches/drops below defined threshold 2. Experience working with git/gitlab. To implement a CI/CD model have used webhooks to trigger job in Jenkins that built and deployed code to AWS using cloudformation templates. 3. Have worked with Chef and Puppet to maintain and create resources like database, servers and software versions. Used ruby/bash/python scripting to create scripts that made maintenance/versioning of environments easier. 4. Have used Docker for containerized deployments 5. Have worked with databases MySQL and MongoDB 6. Worked with Load balancers like HA Proxy and ELB 7. Worked with ELK I have the ability to adapt to new requirements/configurations as per the project demands. My strong coding background helps better understand and implement client requirements.
