Shopping Cart Modifications

We are using the VP-ASP shopping cart (v6.0) and we need a add-in that will allow us to calculate freight shipping based on the products ordered based on feet of truck space used. We have already created an MS Access database table that has a column for each available amount of truck space (8feet, 10feet, etc…) the database also has a row for each zip code in the U.S. that we will ship to. The winning bidder will have to take the shopping cart, figure out what products have been ordered and based on the total quantity of each item and the total quantity of items call the database and based on zipcode and number of feet of truck space populate the shipping item with the right dollar amount. Also, based on product ID supplies, up to a quantity of 2 items of certain things can be ordered without requiring additional feet of truck space. Before returning the shipping amount the function must check a second table in MS Access to see if any additional feet of truck space is needed based on the items purchased. FOR EXAMPLE: 2EA WS510B This 10ft of truck space 3EA WS510BNS This 20ft of truck space 2EA WS56B This would be 6ft of truck space 3EA WS56B This would be 6ft of truck space If the total quantity of items in the second table is more then 4 then we don’t calculate shipping, we display the following message: “Flatbed Required - You must call for Freight Cost.?? ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). 4) Code must be written as a subroutine or function that can be plugged into the existing shopping cart. 5) Code must be documented with comments to explain exactly what is being done. 6) Code must be written in classic ASP. 7) Code will utilize existing MS Access Database. 8) The developer must be fluent in English. 9) The project must be complete with 7 days of project acceptance. ## Platform Classic ASP with MS Access 97 database.
