A simple site showing classifieds, business listings and notices. To be developed in ASP with a Microsoft SQL Server backend. This is stage 1 and if successful stage 2 will require more work in relation to managing advertising and user payments. There is a lot of detail here but most is related to very simple items and a lot of functions are repetitive. This will be a working prortype, hence the decision to use ASP - so we can easily modify and add little things in the design phase. No design is required. Basic pages for forms and output pages will be provided so the successfull bidder only needs to put the database together and write the code behind the pages ready for the CSS design to be applied. Database\ - in all database tables add autofield Dateadded to add current date time of when record added - in all database tables add autofield datemodified to update field with current date time of when record modified - Status table (Delete, Suspended, Pending, Active). Each User, notice, classified, business must have a status associated with it and only status=active must be shown on the [login to view URL] listing pages - Database structure each item is associated with a city.domain.com.
