Looking for a way to batch edit very specific fields in a .TRC file from an OTDR. Must be able to edit the following - Calibration date Date trace was created (not file creation date in OS) or test date Number of averages (duration) used (15 second, 30 second ect.) Must not corrupt file in any way. Only persons familiar with OTDR traces need apply.

Hello, I have a lot of experience with batch editing of files. However I've never seen a OTDR traces file (you've only got one bid so I thought I'd try). I doubt it would be that hard to edit a field in a file (even if it uses some sort of equation). It sounds like you just need a bunch of things changed involving time-stamps.
