need a old school programmer that knows C for DOS. Are you familiar with programming 32 bit applications in Dos Using the DjGpp + Allegro Library? Basically we have developed a graphical user interface for the FreeDOS distribution that features TCP/IP but the gui lacks a Web Browser at this point. the project is open source but the browser will not be free. it will be sold on the website. the code you develop with us will not be released to the public and i have another C programmer who can fill you in on the development of the project. if we can finish this project then the Final work will be released on Dell Computers with the official freeDOS distribution (http://www.dell.com/us/business/p/desktops-n-workstations#facets=80770~0~1791343&p=1) this is an arrangement i have made with Jim Hall of the FreeDOS group. As far as rates & pay go i will pay you as an ABN business. you can choose to be paid by milestone &/or achievements or an hourly rate. we need to develop a web browser. current programmer has left.

Hi, I have 13 years experience in C programming ( since I was 12 :-) ) My educational projects have been mostly around system programming in DOS, Linux and a little Windows during university. (in Turobo C, GNU C/C++, Borland C++ Builder) I have worked 3 years professionally as a Linux/UNIX system programmer for financial switches. I am very interested in your project and want to contribute. I propose $30 AUD as an hourly rate. I am ready to start a test period and if you liked my performance, we can continue our cooperation.
