using guitar as computer keyboard via the rocksmith (tm) real tone cable

I will like to be able to use my guitar as a computer keyboard to write for example emails. (Please be aware that for this project, I might prefer people in the vicinity of Denmark for easier testing (unless maybe I travel US og Asia this summer)) This has already been made ([login to view URL]) but I will like to make it using the cable mentioned in the title. The point of it is that I will help people to learn the fingerplay of a guitar doing and in a very motivated way since we all need to write emails. I will start by citing the official description of the cable: "Rocksmith™ requires a unique 1/4"-t- USB cable, that is the first of its kind, which allows users to plug any real guitar with a quarter-inch jack directly into their console or PC. Developed exclusively for Rocksmith™, this revolutionary cable turns the guitar's signal from analog to digital, allowing it to be recognized and played through video game consoles or PC for the first time." Since the digital conversion has already happened in the cable I hope that this can be a relatively straghtforward project but also understand that it might need some work to map the keys (please look at the attached picture for a layout) We can talk in more detail about number of hours needed to do the project.
