I need a virtual assistant. Someone who can devote around 4-6 hours a day for my assignments. You don't have to be at my beck and call but I expect you to be online through Yahoo Messenger on previously agreed upon time and schedules. I only need to talk to you for a collective number of hours of around 3 hours a day: 1) 30-60 minutes for instructions and workload assignment, 2) 30-60 minutes for questions and clarification, and 3) another 30-60 minutes for the delivery of the work and revision requests, if any. The rest will be for you to work on my assignments.
This is a monthly thing but I want a test run of 5 days, so please place a bid for 5 days of 4-6 hours a day. I'll pay on the 5th day and if I'm happy, I'll work with you on a regular basis. Succeeding payments will be made weekly every Monday.
Regular work schedule will be 4-6 hours a day, 5-6 days a week between 10AM to 4PM EST.
Requirements:
Expertise on MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Familiarity with PhotoShop, Pagemaker
Responsibilities:
Please understand that these are the things that the winning bidder will do for me BUT it does not mean that he/she will be doing all of these in one day. She/He may do 3-4 of these in a day with very little supervision. There will be assignments that will require a 1-2 hour turnaround time but some of them will require at least 48 hours of turnaround time. You just have to manage your time wisely.
1) Data Entry
--Usually manual lead generation from Switchboard and other online directories
--Entry of stats into Excel worksheets
2) Proofreading
--Basic checking for grammatical errors of articles. Should highlight parts that were changed.
3) Plagiarism Checks
--Running articles through Copyscape, DupeCop. Report hits to me. No need to rewrite.
4) Creation/Preparation of Outlines/Reports/Instructions
--Use charts based on data provided
--Write progress and performance reports
--Write instructions for me.
5) Checking against Specs
--Review articles if they have followed the specs/instructions provided.
6) Simple Research
--Look for articles that can be rewritten.
--Articles that can be rewritten and used for blogs.
--Look for data online.
--Grab lists of establishments from readily available resources online.
7) Occasional audio transcription
--usually with a single speaker, maximum of 2 speakers.
8) Layout Brochures/Newsletters
I need someone who can work fast with a strong eye for detail. I still do QAs afterwards.
