Excel Time Sheet Analysis

Goal: I run a Hotel Management Company for 12 hotels and 4 residential properties. I need work done fast and efficiently. The person who succeeds at this task will get the rest of my work for the next 6 months. Job: Take an excel document of timesheets dating back 1 year for a number of employees ranging between 150 and 250 employees. The timesheets will follow the following pattern: 1. Employee Punches In for work. 2. If any: Employee punches out for lunch. 3. If any: Employee punches back in from lunch 4. Employee Punches Out for work. You will be conducting an audit for the following: 1. Lunch times: Ensure that a employee who works a total of 6 hours in the day is required to take a full 30 minute lunch before their 5th hour of work. If this is found, that employee is owed 1 penalty hour. You will log how many penalty hours each employee is owed. 2. Lunch times: Ensure that employee takes at least 30 minutes for lunch. If they take any less than 30 minutes for lunch, that employee is owed 1 penalty hour. You will log how many penalty hours each employee is owed. 3. Overtime: For the following group of properties, Group: Pacific Inn/Marina Inn/Point Loma Inn/Hotel Aqua Mar check for each employee that worked at multiple properties in the same week. Check to see how many "regular hours" marked as "Reg" in the column, they worked in total at all of the 4 properties for that week. If they worked more than 40 hours. Every hour they worked is considered an Overtime Hour. You will log how many overtime hours each employee is owed. A week starts on Monday and ends on Sunday. 4. Overtime: For the following group of properties, Group: Pacific Inn/Marina Inn/Point Loma Inn/Hotel Aqua Mar check for each employee that worked at multiple properties in the same week. Check to see how many "regular hours" marked as "Reg" in the column, they worked in total at all of the 4 properties for each day. If they worked more than 8 hours in a given day. Every hour they worked over 8 hours in a given day is considered an Overtime Hour. Every hour they work over 12 hours in a given day they are owed Double Time. You will log how many overtime hours and double time hours each employee is owed. A day starts at 7:00 am and end at 6:59 am. Result Required: At the end you will: 1. Create a summary for each employee, notating how many penalty hours, overtime hours, and double time hours are owed. 2. Keep a log of the dates where employee is owed each penalty hour, overtime hours, and double time hour. 3. Create a calculation table, where I can plug in a penalty hour pay rate, overtime hour pay rate, and double time pay rate for each employee, since each employee will have a different pay rate. Prize: The person who gets me the correct results the fastest over the next 12 hours will get $750 and the top 3 fastest people that give me a correct results analysis will move to the next round where there is $1,500 project.
