I am also a software developer with extensive knowledge and experience in web development and database programming. My experience revolves around adoption, customization and scaling of third party applications (rapidsms - [login to view URL], openMRS - [login to view URL]) for use at the local sites, and developing software applications that sort to solve a particular set of problems.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Technology from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology .I attained a 2nd Class Honors, Upper Division, majoring in software applications development.
With over 3 years of experience in the healthcare domain, coupled with my unmatched passion for designing highly configurable, secure and scalable healthcare integration solutions, I guarantee a high level of quality and precision in the execution of my duties. As a software developer at CDC-Kenya, we just finished work on creating a NwHIN (Nationwide Healthcare Information Network). For this I was responsible for the design, development, deployment and maintenance of several mirth channels. A project of this magnitude was truly beneficial in my quest to be a better healthcare integration expert.
