I need just a camera that is mounted in a vehicle, which is connected to a door sensor. It takes a picture every time the vehicle door closes. It then stores these pictures with time-stamps on a micro-sd card. This is done to have a basic analysis or estimate of the people that will have boarded the bus. The information can be sent to a remote server for offsite monitoring.

Hello, This project will be grate with raspberry pi and camera module. We can use pressure based door sensor to detect opening and closing of the door. The camera will be in sleep mode for rest of the time. The data can be sent to control station over wifi. Also with raspberry pi future modules can be added for automatic person counting etc. Also for this project we can use video recording for the time when door is open until ti close to get better view. It will take 5-10 days to complete the project. I can install the system in your place remotely over team viewer. Thank you.

I'll design this system for you with a raspberry ok and a webcam/ipCam. Images will be stored on the sdcard Relevant Skills and Experience I built several noche applications with raspberry pis. I also have experience with embedded systems, firmware design, nodejs.
