I am a sole trader setting up a second hand online bookstore. I have a Zebra MC3190-Z hand-held RFID reader I purchased second hand. I want to tag each book with a passive UHF tag and code each tag with an inventory number corresponding to my inventory spreadsheet. The system I desire to set up is for the sole purpose of being able to quickly locate an item with handheld reader (using geiger function) as books will all be stored in boxes and cannot be ‘browsed’. I will then reuse the tag, assigning it a different ID number when I do so. I need help setting up my reader - connecting to wifi, setting up necessary software and how to interact with RFID tags. I can come to you and bring the hardware if that is more convenient. I live in Ashford, Kent.

I have expertise in NFC Read/Write by NDEF, NFC-A, peer-to-peer mode and I'm very flexible for any kinds of Card such as Mifare Desifre, Ultralight 1k/4k (those are RFID). Also, I'm very familiar with Zebra SDK and Readers. For your project we can write book unique ID from you store db into UHF(Ultra high frequency) RFID chipe or tag. Hi there, I came across your project and believe I can help you with the required tasks. I have a background in robotics and electrical design and have worked with RFID tags on a couple projects in the past the most recent one setting up a security system for a small office in my town utilising RFID tags to enable access to employees and guests.
