Dear, Regarding my qualifications, I hold a Master's degree in Electrical Power Systems and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical) and I've been using Matlab/Excel/VBA for 5+ years. Regarding The project: I have a ready excel that downloads automatically large sums of data from yahoo finance. It can download historical data for last 30years (input daily, weekly, monthly) for up to 100 tickers at a time (click of a button). Other button downloads market cap for these stocks as well. There is also a stress testing algorithm to test how much did stocks move in 1day and 3day range according to pre defined levels (for margin calculation etc.).
