I am an IT professional for more than 6 years now. I know multiple programming languages. Using one of the programming language like Python, this job becomes really easy. The code will read all the 1000 (or so) files and append all the data into a single output file. The catch here is to make sure that the data aligns perfectly in the columns in the final file. And that's where my 3+ years experience in python will come-in handy. As I have been using Python for Data Analytics purpose, I frequently read and write from excel files. So, it should not be a challenge. [ADVICE: Making computer do most of the work in this case will make sure that there are least bit of errors. Doing this by hand (or copy-paste) has higher chances of error.
