Flash T-shirt Designer Application Application Specifications and Scope of Work The Flash T-shirt Designer application will have the same look and functionality of the sample application in this website: [login to view URL] Zazzle’s application is not in Flash, however, we require one to be built in Flash. If you have a better application already developed, please provide a link so we can review it. Do not however provide us links to your previous work which are not relevant to this project. Please take not of the work flow in the sample application above. From opening the website, choosing a clothing size, choosing a clothing type, creating a session id before opening the webpage with the application. This is very important as we only need the application built, the website we can do on our own, so you have to be aware of how we can integrate the application to the site via a session id or something similar. The Flash T-shirt Designer application will have the following custom specifications: 1. The application will be embedded in a standard html website with a header. It will have a minimum width of 960px and a minimum height of 500px. It will include an option to open the application in full screen. The image below illustrates this with the gray part representing the effective browser size. 2. The application will be bilingual, with support for Arabic and English language fonts. - You will provide a function for us to able to add, remove and update the choice of fonts for this application. Our suggestion for this is to have each font embedded in its own SWF file, which is then referenced by the application via XML. If you have a better and easier implementation for this, please let us know. - This is very important. If you cannot do this, please do not bid on this project. If you can do this, please provide us with a link to samples of your previous work which has this feature. 3. It will be integrated to an ASPX backend for the shopping cart and user profiles. - We have our own shopping cart that we will be using with this application. What you will provide us is the documentation on how we can integrate the Flash T-shirt Designer application to our shopping cart. - User profiles allow users to save their designs to return to it at another time. When they return to the site, they can either load their old design or create a new one. - ASP.net and MS-SQL will be used - As an option, if you have already have a shopping cart implemented for this, we would like to know how much would it cost for you to implement it for us and the license for the shopping cart system. 4. It will have the functionality to let us add, remove and update design templates, clipart, stock images and shapes. The updating will be the same method as the fonts. 5. It will have the functionality to let us specify clothing types (categories) and sizes. Examples of clothing types would be t-shirt, sleeveless t-shirt, sweatshirt, jacket, etc. Examples of clothing sizes would be small, medium, large, etc. 6. The design will be exported as a high resolution PDF file, with a resolution of 300dpi. This feature is very important. If you cannot do this, please do not bid on this project. If you can do this, please provide us with a link to your previous work which has this feature. 7. There will be two versions for the clipart and images. When being opened in the application, it will be the low resolution version. When the design is exported to PDF, the clipart and images will be changed to the high resolution version before exporting.
