Grant writer for Ontario Trillium Foundation

Hi I am the founder of KosherTube. Now 8 years old and needs a major makeover - KT2 The good news is we are the YouTube of the traditional Jewish world At the top of the Google Search for "Kosher Videos" 60,000 signed confirmed members 18,000 Videos on site 55 Million video screenings The bad news is our platform has not been updated in 8 years and you can not get us on mobile devices but that is only one of many tech issues that need to be dealt with. I have a detailed business plan that shows how we can become self sustaining over 3 years. I am in the latter stages of negotiation with Bnai Brith Canada, to make a collaborative grant application. I would like to go for a 3 year Trillium "Grow Grant", 220,000, 150,000, and 75,000 The Trillium Action Area is "Connected People" - "Reduced Social Isolation" (I can explain the logic to choosing this area when and if we move forward. This is a good fit with Bnai Brith As you may have guessed I have very little money. However I developed a detailed projection and Buz-plan with the YEDI (York Entrepreneurial Development Institute) and I know the project, it potential and its weaknesses like the back of my hand, maybe better. Registration is due by Aug 12th and submission 2 weeks later. I have been through the application and know the answers to more than 90% of the questions but want to maximize the chance of getting the grant by putting those answers in the language and context that Trillium is looking for. Rabbi David Ostriker: As Producer & Director-of-Photography, throughout the Cold War, Rabbi Ostriker's preparation for The Rabbinate came with the Khyber Rifles in the North-West-Territories of Pakistan, the Mujahadeen fighting the Soviets in the Mountains of Afghanistan, and with Jonas Savimbi in the Jungles of South Africa and Angola. Ostriker tracked Soviet and Cuban Spies, in France, the US, Canada, UK, the Middle East and Latin America. Rabbi Ostriker received his Ordination from Rav Dovid Schochet the President of Vaad HaRabbonim, The Orthodox Council of Ontario in 2010. Rabbi Ostriker is the Founder of KosherTube. He has served as the senior consultant to CTS’s “Messages”. Ostriker has served on the Executive Committee of the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television, and is a past Chair of the Canadian Independent Film Caucus and a founding Member of Hot Docs. He is a member of the Directors Guild of Canada and is a lifetime member of the Canadian Society of Cinematographers. He was a founding Board Member of Toronto Talmud Torah.
