I would spend the first day coming up with concept designs for you to check and change until you are happy with it. I'm thinking going with a beanie with writing on, red open hoodie with white t-shirt with a graffiti/pop-punk design on it with jeans and trainers/boots to keep with the design. On the second day (or once concept art is complete) I will create the model using the example proportions show in the example, creating it in blender. I can then, if you wish, create the model armature to make it much easier for you to pose or animate in the future.
