Hi there. It would help if you could attached the character concepts, so I can see what you are looking for. However I understand if you do not want to show these around. Also you have given no information as to how many illustrations would be required for the book, so I cannot really give an accurate bid for the job at this stage. I have been self publishing and selling comics for a number of years now, and while this is not the same as a children's book, it demonstrates that I have solid knowledge of designing for print and publication. If I were to do this job for you I could help with/do the book layout for print. I also know a number of printers around Aus and can probably help you find a the best price if your intention is to self publish this book. So please feel free to take a look at my Freelancer portfolio, it should demonstrate my abilities well enough.
