Purpose
Design and implement card \magic" game using the Java GUI API with the event model (observer
design pattern). USE java and eclipse
Assignment
The card magic game is a GUI application (as demonstrated in class) that displays a frame with
three buttons (say \start", \relax", and \magic").
The game is played in 4 steps:
1. When the \start" button is clicked, four cards are displayed at the center that may be
surrounded by some face-down cards.
2. Ask the spectator to select and stare at one of the four cards for 5 seconds, and remember
the card.
3. When the \relax" button is clicked, display four dierent cards, so the spectator may relax a
bit.
4. When the \magic" button is clicked, three cards are displayed in such a way that it appears
the card the spectator secretly selected has disappeared and only three cards left.
The play is shown below, where the last frame shows only 3 cards without the one the spectator
selected.

What to Submit
Submit on Blackboard your well-documented source program (.java les) and the images used in
your program. You may submit a zip le to include all the les with the images in a sub-folder.
