I have a great idea that cost a little more. I can make you a tv remote controller. The difference between this one and the regular ones that already exits is that the tv can be controlled from iPhones, Desktop/Laptop computers, Blackberies, Androids or Windows Phones. I am doing this because I hate replicating other people's work. I like to be original. Instruction on How to Use It: 1) Application ask the user to map all the pins. Arduino ir receiver will be recording and storing each button function. 2) You then use it after to control your tv, dvd player, cable box, ps3, xbox 360 or anything with ir receiver with your mobile phone or tablet. No more looking for your remotes! Things I will make: 1) App for iPhone, iPad, Desktop/Laptop computers, Blackberries, Androids and Windows. App will be made with Unity3D and I will provide source code written in C# for Unity. 2) Code for Arduino side that will handle TCP and IR signals Components required: 1) Arduino Uno 2) Arduino wifi shield 3) Arduino ir transmitter sensor 4) Arduino ir receiver sensor 5) Ethernet wire 6) Arduino 9v power supply Question and Answers: 1) What happens if the wifi the Arduino is trying to connect to has a password? The user can plug the Arduino to the computer and enter the password of the router using the Arduino Serial Monitor which will be saved on the EEPROM on the Arduino.
