Angular has been my primary front-end framework for last 4 years and used to build the various SPAs. I mainly focus on the front-end development using Angular and Material Design, but my experience includes a great deal with backend works as well. About Node, I usually build website and web app with it. Due to the asynchronous, non-blocking feature of node.js, it is by nature the appropriate (if not the best) solution to load data from third party APIs, convert and store them into local DB, and generate analytical reports. Most of the web services and APIs available support node.js and provide wrappers and client libraries for node.js as well. Because the only requirement by node.js is the node package and V8 engine, the same script written in node.js can be used as backend APIs or as the cron-job scripts that run in background and retrieve data periodically.
