Design MySql db and develop webpages to create, read, update, and delete initiatives and proposals. Page 1: SEARCH Page: Initiatives/Proposals: Search page which allows for Creating, reading, updating, and deleting initiatives and associated data. Also allows for searching of proposals by keyword, initiative id, etc. link to ability to update that result. Page 2: Proposals of (this) initiative page: CRUD proposals and associated data (1 initiative can have many proposals) Consistent with the CRUD framework, Searching initiatives pages should use ajax to allow for a narrowing of results (i.e. text field where as information is typed, the results shown below for possible update, to drill down to the proposals for that initiative or ability to delete the initiative. The ability to hide initiatives and associated proposals is also important. Search functionality should allow showing active initiatives (default) but also ability to display hidden initiatives, could be driven simply by a drop down box (Active-default, Hidden, All) -- You could simply have the results grouped by Active up top and Not-Active (hidden) shown below and grayed out. Once results are displayed, drilling down to the proposals (as mentioned above) means having a list of the proposals associated with that initiative and grouped by proposal status. Ability to add a proposal for that initiative should be present as well as the ability to update that proposal, and delete/hide it from reporting.
