Hi, I would like to consider my bid for your project if you are looking for a search engine expert. I can configure the search engine and provide search query API for front end integration. But I am not very proficient to develop web apps and mobile apps. I have around 9+ years of work experience in leading search technologies like Elastic Search/ELK stack, Apache Solr (both standalone and solr cloud), Autonomy, Amazon Cloud Search, etc. Have worked on end to end implementation of search for various projects. Have worked on installation, schema configuration, data indexing, search query API's, relevancy tuning/scoring, search features config, security, etc for huge data sets(~500M) in Apache Solr and Elastic Search. We are AWS Registered Partners. We may develop REST API with functionalities - 1) Upload new image with one or more tags, 2) Search image with desired input tags, 3) Download image that was searched. Here search uses CMIS over Solr (similar to ElasticSearch) and search tags must be spelled correctly (few characters of tag is ok). You may run the API using JavaScript based Web app (e.g. Angular) or via mobile app. Process: Request to Load balancer -> to Tomcat -> to Alfresco. Response: List of image ids or an image. Note: Development of Web or Mobile app is out of scope. Deliverables: 1) Code, 2) Deployment package, 3) Deployment instructions. Software Components: Load balancer (nginx on ec2 or Elastic Load Balancer), App Server (Tomcat on ec2), Content Management Server (Alfresco on ec2, MySQL on RDS). Security: Load balancer can be on Public subnet and other components can be on Private Subnet of VPC. Both can be secured by security groups and ACL. Additional security (disk encryption, IDS/IPS etc.) can be implemented (out of scope). Scalability: All the components can be changed to be scalable horizontally and vertically.
