Hello I am an senior in electrical engineering and during the course of my education I have used Matlab and Simulink in numerous courses. For example,I simulated the solar system in Matlab as one of my projects in introductory programming course. Hence I can understand your problem statement. You want to find I initial velocity, just like in angry birds , that would allow your object to fall on the ground 60 feet below from the initial height of 100 feet. So I will have to set up the differential equation, model it in Simulink , show the results. Moreover, We can discuss the problem on Google hangout if you wish. regards
