Android Calendar App (Replication of Android version of an existing IOS app)

Technical Requirements This project involves replication an Android version of an existing IOS app on the itune store. The name of the IOS app will be revealed if you are awarded the project. There is no backend for this project. Proper documentation of setting up of the environment to be provided. Ownership of the source code belongs to the client Native Android app using Java, no PhoneGap allowed. The entire app is made by tab bar controller with only 3 tabs. First tab: My Account This is an embedded browser which will go to the broker's login page. (URL will be provided upon confirmation) Do ensure to provide back, forward and reload for the users once they start using the embedded browser. And once, they have filled in the username and password, make sure to save/cache them for subsequent logins. 2nd tab: News This is the table view controller that will provide a list of blog post from a rss feed at this location. (URL will be provided upon confirmation) When an item is tapped, it will go to an embedded browser to view the contents. 3rd tab: Alarm [login to view URL] This will get xml information from this url and filter the events from the xml with events happening today and future dates only. As those dates and timing are UTC (GMT+00), you need to convert to timezone in user device default timezone. Display the information into a table view controller and sorted by 9 countries. USD, AUD, CAD, CHF, CNY, EUR, GBP, JPY , NZD There will be an Add Alarm button with each individual event item. When user tabs, it will add the event into the Android default calendar app and also set an alarm time to trigger before the event happens (default is 1hour before actual event time). When the user changes the alert setting from the default 1 hour to 2 hours on phone's calendar app, this change is not reflected on Android app, it still shows the previous setting of 1 hour. Settings button The events have a property call impact. User can sort the events with impact (High impact, medium impact, low impact). The default alarm to trigger is 1 hour before the actual event. User can select from 5min, 15min, 30min, 60 min, 2hr, 6hr, 12hr, 1day which will apply to all the events. Refresh button To load the page if it's slow. Other requirements The loading of blog rss feed and xml should be asynchronous so that the device will not hang while the tab is tapped by the user. User Interface 1.
