I am working on a project for the international slavery museum in liverpool.
The project aims to bring the sound of a gospel choir singing a traditional negro spiritual song to life for
one of the exhibits in the museum.
I will be replicating the acoustics and ambience of the hold of a merchant ship ( the cutty sark) with an ambient, spatial audio background.
To do this, I have partnered with a company, Somethin’ Else, and licensed their technology to enable 3D sound rendering in real time.
The objective is to use the 'Papa Engine' or the" two big ears" asset to spatialise the audio using orientation data from the accelerometer in the iphone to make the experience more immersive for the user.
I'm looking for an iOS programmer to help develop the application.
The company have sent me an email stating :
"The engine is not difficult to use; as I've said before, any competent iOS developer should understand the API as it is written rather clearly.
We also provide a demo application with the engine and sample documentation for how to set up a development environment."
All information regarding how to use the 2 engine's etc is found here
