Hi, Let me describe the app requirements. I have a list of customer groups, each group is interested in one of my products. I would like to notify each group about the product that they have. (This is the main requirement, please continue reading). 1-All the customer should use the same app (i.e. we don't need a special app for each group). 2-we don't want to use the push method. I mean instead of using the push method, here my question, can we let the app pull the notification every 5 minutes (on the background) from our web server using an HTTP request and notify the user on his mobile? 3- Each notification has a link to the complete announcement so the user can click on the notification to open the link on the default browser. Is this possible? or we need to use the push method? If we have to use the push method can we customize the notifications so each group receives only the notification of their product? Cheers,

Hi, What you are asking is quite possible. I can build the app for you where it will check for new data using http on your webserver, if there is new for that group, user will see the notification and clicking on it will open in browser...

Hi, I read your requirement. You need to notify the people about the product from your website. So, to notify groups you can make them subscribe to a topic in google firebase and then notify them with a 5 minute cloud function that will check on your website and send the notification to the group on the app. I hope this helps you.
