- Registration for new users (contestants) and non-contestants who will vote on the midi songs. Both should be allowed to vote once verified by email.
- Hall of Fame - for the Winners. The Top 3 winners will be placed into the Hall Of Fame automatically. Their names will be listed along with their song title and artist comments.
- Submissions - will allow 1 midi song (.mid) to be entered per month, with artist name and a comments section to allow the artist to describe their song. Submissions will be placed into music category by the artist.
- Contests will startup on the firstday of every month and end on the last day of the month. When a contest closes, the Top 3 Winners are automatically moved into the hall of fame.(until the year 2050 at least, in case one of my kids wants to take the contest over)
- Admin pannel - view artists, songs and comments for every contest. Modifications and banning done via this [login to view URL] a maintenance script to cleanup the cache or backup the [login to view URL] Email link to mass email all Artists and Users.
- Artist page - basically a small profile allowing artist to ppost a small photo, their name, location, and allow them to post a link to their web site, ie. contact info, modifiable by the artist
- Voting Booth or column where registered users can cast their votes and comments on the songs, individually. Scoring should be done from 1 - 10 with 10 being the highest score.
- An option for an extended vote in case there are any 'ties' in scoring.
- Contest Page - should show: Month of Current Contest - Artist name, Song name (which can be played by clicking it's link) and a field for Artist's Comments)- it would probably be easier if the registered users could vote directly from this page, so they won't have to leave and come back to vote on more... I will leave that up to you.
