I'm looking for a small demo application that will demonstrate programers skills. As such the requirements are quite broad. The one departure from standard application architecture and that will require new thought and design is that I want an Add only database. Meaning that when you would have done an update you insert an new record with the same record ID and a current time stamp. Similar for Delete you insert a new record with the appropreate record ID timestamp and a delete flag set. I want to see examples of referential integrity in the database ie triggers or defined relationships. The sample should include Cascading Delete, Resticted Delete. The application must allow to browse and search records. Display Parent, Child, GrandChild data. Allow for the user to view all changes to a logical record and select any point in time to make the current record. Ideally this would be a Web application with a SQLExpress database but a winforms App and SQL Server are acceptable as well
