I am writing a series of ebooks in PDF format that will cover Texas Holdem Poker. Each edook will cover a specific skill needed by a good Holdem player. To practice this skill I want to enclude a Flash based "skill builder" drill for the reader to practice with. The first skill builder will be used to practive which pocket cards to play before the "flop" The player will be given to cards from a standard deck and be told a number of pieces of information about the position they are in, the type of table they are playing at (loose, average, tight) and the number of players at the table. They will then decide if they should play their hand at this point or not. (The program looks into a list of pocket cards sutible for playing and tells the player if they were "wrong" or not in their decision to play. The system should be able to be expandable so more criteria could be added with addition list of acceptible hands for each combination of criteria. My guess is that the data for the "proper" pocket card hands to keep will be contained in a text file that is loaded into the program at start up so different combos could be used. I would just like aa ballpark quote so I can decide if I can afford to proceeded with this idea or not.
