A simple Flash application for viewing documents. Similar to Macromedia Flashpaper but do not need search or printing capabities.
The viewing application will retrieve the document from a web server. Ideally the entire document would be contained in a single file with each page of the document being a SWF frame. The structure of the document would be described in XML. Pages can be optionally assigned a "label", generally a page number, but could be text like "Cover", "Table of Contents" or "IV".
Basic navigation controls:
goto 1st page <<
goto last page >>
goto prev page <
goto next page >
I would prefer to have a single file for each document. The pages are converted from PDF to SWF by swftools.
The XML file could look like:

Other features are:
* A nice "page flip" transition.
* a scrolling list on left side listing the page "labels". user can go directly to a page by clicking on a label.
* toggle for single page or facing page view
* for facing pages view, cover appears on right side/backcover on left side
* make application window resizable
The SWF and XML files will be created by our software. We can provide samples once we agree upon the XML and SWF file organization.
