Contact Exchange Proof of Concept.

Purpose We are looking for an individual or small company located in Barcelona to perform a proof of concept project. The application/website running in the cloud will allow users to register, enter contact information such as name, address and phone numbers and share select contact information with other users. The application will create and update information in Google Contacts with information that has been shared by connected users. Resource Requirements We are looking for individual or small company located in or near Barcelona. An intermediate level of English required as business requirements and the website will be in English. The individual needs to complete the design and development work in 3 weeks or less starting August 22nd, 2014 Project Milestones - Initiation - Aug 1 - Screening Candidates - Aug 15 - Select candidate - Aug 22 - Design/Proposal - Aug 29 ** - Development - Sep 12 - Closure - Sep 15 ** The client will be available Aug 22-Aug 29 to answer any questions regarding the concept, screens, objectives in order to develop a technical design. Project Costs/Funding - Fixed priced contract with payments based on milestones. Major Features - User registration (first name, last name(s) and email address) - Invite registered and non-registered users to exchange information - Process incoming invitations to exchange information - Add, edit and delete information in My Contact - Change the order in which multiple phone, email or web addresses appear - View and edit information shared with connected contacts - Import information from the contact exchange into Google contacts - Update the contact information in Google Contacts with any changed information Technical Requirements In Scope - website on a public cloud infrastructure - developed using a content management system using available plugins (Wordpress, Drupal, Joomla) and not require significant custom development. - tested on one browser Chrome - integrate with Google Contacts to create and update contact information. - user registration using an email address, and support for authentication of users to update data and authentication of users to browse data with connected contacts - support field level authorization - maximum of 20 contact fields and 4 user screens. - The website should be hosted/available for a minimum of 3 months following the proof of concept. Please include this cost in your proposal. Out of Scope - The application does not need to be responsive. - The application does not need to work on any other browsers. - The application does not need to have robust error handling - Limited UX design. Wireframes for four pages of the application will be provided. - The website will be in English only. Multiple languages are not required. - The application will create and update Google contacts. Delete Google contacts is not required. - Theme/footer. The website can have a simple menu (header) to enable navigation. No footer is required. Deliverables - A kick off presentation explaining the approach delivered to the client in person in Barcelona. - A proposal including costs by milestone. - A design proposal/technical design document - A working application tested on one browser (Chrome) - A presentation/demo of the application to the client in person in Barcelona - A closure document including lessons learned, challenges, and next steps.
