Dear Freelancers,
The script for the website will require absolutly no graphical skill. That having said, see the script that has to be made more of an extention (if not better alternative to using Excel).
This script will be for pairing one side of the database with another. Please bare with me, this might be hard to explain. The gist of the idea is, that there is a long list of lecturers and a long list of universities, and they need to be paired together seemlessly without loosing oversight. This was always done in Excel, and it looks like a mess. There will be roughly 50 of each (lectureres and universities) paired over a course of 2 days (1 each day) and a lecturer usually goes to 2 different universities.
Basically, the script needs to be able to do a few things:
1. I need to be able to log in (2, 3 users) (very simple, won't need much protection if any)
2. I need to be able to make two types of entry's into the database. Let's call them LECTURER and UNIVERSITIES for simplicity.
- where as LECTURER is concerned, I need to be able to fill in a few details. Name, contact information, things like that.
- where as UNIVERSITIES is concerned, I need to be able to roughly do the same. Address, information, things like that.
3. This is probably the most 'tricky' of the script. I need to be able to assign a LECTURER to a UNIVERSITIES.
4. When logged in, I need to be able to see a few statistics (basically echo's from the mysql database) basically see how many LECTURER/UNIVERSITIES not assigned
5. I need to see a log of which user did what (added LECTURER, paired, things like that)
Please have a good understanding knowledge of English. I cannot bare misunderstanding and this cannot go wrong for me.
