XSLT/CSS reports that tranform XML into HTML for viewing in a browser

Brief: Write a set of pure XSLT/CSS reports that tranform XML into HTML for viewing in a browser and then printing from the browser in a simple fashion (preferably using CSS/XSL or maybe PDF). There will be several reports having, in general, different XML. Each report will require a distinct XSLT transform You will be supplied with: 1. a sample (scanned) one-page sample printout of each report, as it should appear on paper 2. a sample XML file containing data records 3. a simple HTML/Javascript page to serve as a test harness The reports typically have multiple entries down the page, with each entity containing dates for rows, and metrics for columns. The XML can be relied upon to give the basic structure. It is envisaged that EXSLT will be needed to achieve formating of dates and to print summary statistics for each section (sums, averages etc.). The formatting will be evident from the scanned reports. You will need to deliver: a) One separate XSLT file for each report b) One CSS stylesheet to serve for all reports c) A few additional XSLT file(s) containing common template functions (e.g. for common headers, footers) d) An HTML/Javascript test harness to demonstrate display/print of reports (taking XSLT and XML filenames as GET parameters) Payment will be made after each successful checkpoint, and there will be a bonus payable on completion Skills required: XSLT CSS XML EXSLT/XPath 2.0 XSL XML Schema HTML design JavaScript You will have a thorough understanding of XSLT/EXSLT (for transforms) and CSS (for style), and will need to produce well designed and maintainable reports. You will need experience in HTML authoring in order to make the reports appear neatly formatted. You will have an appreciation of XSLT, XPath, CSS standards, and understand the limitations of their browser implementions in order to successfully ensure that the devliverables work on IE and Firefox ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows?
