I have a adobe firework/Photoshop design ready to go. I need it in
Joomla 1.5. The menu is 100% custom and will require some JS coding.
There is also a slideshow to encode. Is that something you can do?
I'm looking for high end quality.
Attached is a pdf document showing different page configurations. If
you are ok with it I will send you the source files.
Basically we have two main types of pages
1) pages that can scroll
2) pages that cannot scroll
The menu is at the bottom at all time, always accessible without scrolling.
The frontpage behaves like [url removed, login to view] (no flash!) ->
look at the main frontpage area, it is a large slideshow.
The menus slide up and their content is NOT from the menu system of
Joomla, but instead coming from modules in full HTML.
The site is a large catalog built in Joomla + K2 + Virtuemart
Page 1 and 2 show that slideshow example on the frontpage
Page 3 shows the menu effect. The menu slides up, background dark and
Each of the menu tab can be customized with any HTML we want, that's
why a module for each tab/menu would be just fine. The bottom menu
pops out a bit when selected. mouseover or click.
About the frontpage slideshow:
Like [url removed, login to view] there should be the slides poping up
so you can click/roll over slides to make them appear. (see at the
bottom of the slideshow, just above the menu on the Cartier site). It
doesn't have to be exacly like [url removed, login to view] but you
get the idea.
Page 12 is an example of a page that does not scroll down (fixed
height). It has a slideshow inside. I will probably reuse an existing
module for that.
Page 15 shows a K2 category view with 8 products and pagination. There
is also a module position on top for a large banner. This could be
replaced by a slideshow module... This page scrolls down (adaptive
Page 17 is a product page (K2 template). Don't worry about the K2
template, I will take care of it. Just account for the right column
position. and that bottom module position for related products
Page 18 is a variation of the product page for "featured" products.
The main difference is that position on top that will be used for a
slideshow. The rest can be setup within K2 and I will take care of
In conclusion, you should be responsible for
- frontpage (page 1) with slideshow and menu
- internal page (no scroll) page 12
- internal page category view page 15
- internal page product views page 17 and 18
Mostly for the layout, graphic, css, the typography (important).
You are not responsible for the smaller slideshow, for the K2 template
(the product description, photos, videos, comments, etc).
Delete page 6 and 7 - they are not used.
The menu behavior and the frontpage slideshow are the big items. I
want to make sure you fully understand those two things.
Let me know if you have questions, how much it would cost and how long
it would take.
